Quite some time ago the Christian man I planned to spend the rest of my life with suddenly cut all contaxt with me, without warning. I was patient at first, thinking he needed space but the call to reconcile never came. I dropped by his house and could see he was still living there but I didn't confront him. I continued to wait, only sending a couple of messages, the first to say I was hurt by his behaviour and to explain a couple of misunderstandings we might have had, and the second was to forgive him and tell him I was moving on. I can see now that he has moved house and I have no idea what is going on in his life. Other than that he hurt me, I guess it's none of my business. Months have now passed and I've prayed in faith for his change of heart but I still haven't heard from him despite his confessed love for me. I am heart broken and only the Lord and prayers from myself and friends has given me any peace. I still cry every day, just for a while because I can't help it. Without Jesus in my life I would be a wreck. I really love this man and I did intend to marry him oneday and he said he wanted to be with me forever (he never proposed). But he obviously didn't love me enough and his on-going stoney silence makes me wonder if he sees me as an enemy. Tomorrow is my birthday and I would love to hear from him but I know this is unrealistic given the circumstances. I just don't want to move on, I just want to keep waiting because I prayed for his return in faith.
I would ask people to pray for this young man who is so special to me, that he is ok. I would also ask that you pray that our heavenly father will help him to resolve any personal problems that he has because he obviously has issues. Thank you. (((hugs))) Less

I've been praying to you about my long distance relationship. We've been breaking it off and getting back together for more than half a year now. I thank you for giving us another chance now. But we're having problems again. Is it just one big rough patch? I don't know. We want to be together but there are always obstacles in our way. More importantly, his fear of commitment to marriage.
